I’m writing a proposal for a research paper on drug smuggling and how it creates violence, but I’m not quite clear on how it creates violence in Mexican cities. I know that drug cartels ship drugs through tunnels, but I’m confused as to how violence occurs, and why thousands of people are killed because of it. A little help here?
