Okay this may be a little difficult, I have spent a few days looking for this book, but I can’t remember the name or the author of the book. I’m hoping someone out there can help. The book is an autobiography about a Mexican man that ends up going to prison. In prison without the skills to read or write he meets the preacher that comes and teaches him to read and write.He then writes the book. I want to say that the man was was from the central valley in California. I think he got busted and went to prison because he and his friend were transporting drugs for a drug boss.
